What is your salad dressing of choice?
A. Caesar

Q. What is your favorite fast food restaurant?
A. In-N-Out Burger changed me for life, but it's all much the same.

Q. What is your favorite sit-down restaurant?
A. That's a really tough call. Probably Ben Pao, but I reserve the right to have other favorites.

Q. On average how much of a tip do you leave at a restaurant?
A. Somewhere in the realm of 20%

Q. What food could you eat every day for two weeks and not get sick of?
A. Potatoes. I'm disgustingly Irish that way.

Q. What are your pizza toppings of choice?
A. Mushrooms and green peppers, but I'll take anything as long as it's a deep dish

Q. What do you like to put on your toast?
A. butter and cinammon sugar

TECHNOLOGY

Q. What is your wallpaper on your computer?
A. 's a photo of a sea otter pointing at a bucket of ice saying "Who maked my water go hard?" I'm mildly obsessive over the lolcat/lolcreature phenomenon.

Q. How many televisions are in your house?
A. ... *counts on fingers* 6? shit...

Q. What kind of cell phone do you have?
A. Samsung X-497. It can't do much, but that's kind of nice.

BIOLOGY

Q. Are you right-handed or left-handed?
A. Right hand!

Q. Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
A. YUS! A "precancerous lesion". I have a pretty bitchin scar.

Q. What is the last heavy item you lifted?
A. My brother. Nuff said.

Q. Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
A. Nuh-uh

BULL[CRAP]OLOGY

Q. If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
A. I'm with Emy. NOWAYKTHXBAI

Q. If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
A. I kind of already did that... I don't know. I like the fact that my name works in a bunch of languages and the nickname fodder is endless.

Q. What color looks good on you?
A. I was told by an old English teacher that I looked ravishing in red. I have staunchly avoided it ever since.

Q. Have you ever swallowed a non-food item by mistake?
A. LOLOLOLOLOL

Q. Have you ever saved someone's life?
A. Perhaps, but at present I simply have a long-set plan to save an attractive boy from a car wreck and then be like, "My God! You're lucky that Emily saved you! She's gone now-- super-hero mentality, you know-- but she left her phone number if you want to call her and, I don't know, take her out to dinner to thank her?"

Q. Has someone ever saved yours?
A. *ruffles hair* I'm sticking with Emy's answer XD

DAREOLOGY

Q. Would you kiss a member of the same sex for $100?
A. Fr'sure

Q. Would you allow one of your little fingers to be cut off for $200,000?
A. Noes. I couldn't climb, play guitar, or play ten fingers. My life would be a tragedy.

Q. Would you never blog again for $50,000?
A. Very likely!

Q. Would you pose naked in a magazine for $250,000?
A. Absolutely. I'm actually surprised at my willingness to do so X3

Q. Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1,000?
A. lol, sure thing.

Q. Would you, without fear of punishment, take a human life for $1,000,000?
A. No way. Killing someone for a very serious reason is one thing, but just for cashmoneys? That's disgusting. I'd like to think that we have more regard for human life.

DUMBOLOGY

Q: What is in your left pocket?
A. A dollar coin. I keep having it ready for the bus and realizing that it's not a quarter at the last second, so it stays with me.

Q: Do you have hardwood or carpet in your house?
A. Both, in varying amounts.

Q: Do you sit or stand in the shower?
A. Stand. I share a bathroom with my brother, and therefore am terrified of coming into close contact with the floor of the shower.

Q: Could you live with roommates?
A. Yeah, it's worked out pretty well so far.

Q: How many pairs of flipflops do you own?
A: two

Q: Last time you had a run-in with the cops?
A. ahahahahaha on Monday. Let's not even go there.

Q: Who is number 2 on your top 8
A. Pre-deletion, I think it was Finn

Q: Last friend you talked to?
A. Mary

Q: Last person who called you?
A. Momma

Q: Person you hugged?
A. George. It was lovely, and vaguely British.

CURRENTOLOGY

Q: Missing someone?
A. Sure, but I bet I'll see them soon.

Q: Mood?
A. A little burnt out. I'm really not feeling the homework vibe right now.

Q: Listening to?
A. the Dead Kennedys, or whatever pops up on my shuffle

Q: Watching?
A. Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. Every rose has its thorn.

Q: Worrying about?
A. Kev.

RANDOMOLOGY

Q: First place you went this morning?
A. To the bathroom? Yes.

Q: What do you want to do right now?
A: Pick up my guitar and finish writing. Or else go to sleep.

Q. What's the last movie you saw?
A. Either Transformers or Die Hard. I don't really remember.

Q. Do you smile often?
A. lol, I have a perma-smile.

Q: Are you a friendly person?
A.
SUCCESS!

All went well this morning-- all four wisdom teeth are out with no nerve or sinus damage whatsoever. [YUS!] Playlist ended up making a killer soundtrack, and Dr. Alexander managed to focus even whilst dancing to "TNT." Nitrous is hella interesting. Went through 9 cycles of being really tingly and out of it, then refocusing. Have decided that, while it is entertaining, I really hate being high. Now I'm at home recovering [read: bleeding all over the place XD] on Vicodin AND antiinflammatories, watching 300 and having a marvelous time.

I would say Mwah here, but I'd prolly drool/bleed if that sentiment were true.

xoxo, moi

I'll keep you all posted once I'm on bedrest DX The main thing I'm worried about is saying something fantastically stupid while I'm on nitrous. <lj:music>Irresponsible Hate Anthem-- Marilyn Manson</lj:music>

Why hello there!

Freshly back from Nantucket with Emily and her family. It was so much fun!!! The weather was a little iffy, but Em and I both managed to get WICKED SUNBURNED the one sunny day. On the upside, I now get to keep people from poking me in the stomach. This is all in addition to hunting for snapping turtles, basically eating my body weight in ice cream, and doing hardcore bike rides [18 miles? heck yes!]

As such, being at home is weird. After a month of being gone it's taking me longer than I expected to reacclamate, but it's still nice to be back. Getting to see various people is fun. XD

MARILYN MANSON CONCERT LAST NIGHT. The people there were so nice! It was incredible. Everyone was super polite and considerate, which is not something you typically associate with Mansonites lol. Bleeding Through was the opener: they were very okay but wonderfully grateful for the attention we gave them. Then FUCKING SLAYER! [It was funny, in the hallway between sets if you were walking around someone would yell "fucking SLAYER!" and a bajillion people would respond in kind.] Umm, so Kerry King is an amazing guitarist. "War Ensemble" and "Chemical Warfare" were great, but they did this hugely drawn-out version of "Reign in Blood" that just kicked my ass. It was amazing.

Then Manson! He got on at about 10:00, and... something about seeing him in person right in front of you is so cool. He played an excellent show-- his voice sounded great-- but no one really likes the new album and there were a lot of old songs that everyone loves that he didn't play, which was disappointing. Despite that, though, I totally lost it during mOBSCENE, The Reflecting God, and Antichrist Superstar. A-mazing.

So yes. Today I have to go on a mini-road trip to get a CAT scan of my wisdom teeth. Apparently my mouth either hates me or just has a really twisted sense of humor. My bottom two wisdom teeth MIGHT be wrapped around the main nerve in my chin, which they could damage, and the top two might leave a hole in my sinus cavity. Greeeeeat.

MWAH

    <lj:music>Don't You Know Who I Think I Am? -- Fall Out Boy</lj:music>

Life has a funny way of throwing shitty things and really good things at you at the same time to make you remember you're still alive.

Allow me to explain.

Jacob's in one of his moods again where he's confused about everything in his entire life-- including me. Which I hate because it makes me all insecure and I'm coming to terms with the fact that I really do love him [a hard admission for me to make, but there it is and I'm proud of it] and I really don't want that to fall apart. We had a long talk yesterday which probably could have gone better but at least we're still together and are going to work it out. I just need something from his end to make sure that I'm not wasting my time. <3

But THEN Mona calls and invites me to go to the Fall Out Boy show. [DEAR DAVID. YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO COMMENT ON THIS PART. SORRY. XD] Which was spec-fucking-tacular!!! She and Charlotte and I went along with Mona's brother and a bunch of his friends. On the way down there we were driving in the minivan and all of a sudden we were next to this unmarked white van with big windows. I looked in one of said windows, out of curiosity, and saw a guy who looked vaguely familiar with a lip ring and Corvette tattoos on his neck. Ladies and gentlemen, Travis Barker. I flipped out [pretty badly, too. I usually don't get starstruck, but I was shrieking at this point] we took photos of him and Mark [they were really sweet. They smiled at us and Mark waved his iced carmel macchiato at us XDDD] We blasted some +44 on our stereo, which they thought was hilarious.

ANYWAY. We get down to the venue, which was really well done and we had some pretty killer seats. Got food and shirts while Paul Wall, one of the warmup bands was on [he kinda sucked. it was really too bad.] The Academy Is... were up next and I was really impressed by them! They played a great live show. THEN THE POWER WENT OUT. And Mark comes out onstage and he's like "Power?! WE DON'T NEED NO FUCKING POWER!" And then, of course, just to spite him, the power comes back on. The +44 set was GREAT. They played 155, which is my favorite song of theirs, perfectly and ended the set with When Your Heart Stops Beating. But my favorite song of the whole set [and everyone else's, by the sound of it] was a little old song called "What's My Age Again?" The whole place turned into one giant moshpit with all of us singing and dancing our asses off. I love that song.

Anyway, power went out AGAIN after their set, and one of the guys came out onstage and was like "Hey, we're running about an hour late so if you guys need to call your parents..." and we're like DA FUCK?!?!

But I digress. [Thinly veiled lyric? Mayhaps!] FALL OUT BOY FUCKING RULED. I had heard that they weren't that good live, but they totally were. They were amazing! [And, though I didn't want to believe it at first, Pete Wentz is really hot.] Their guitarist is so much more talented than he lets on! They went through most of my favorite songs and the whole crowd was singing and I was rocking out which, tragically, Charlotte got on video. [Some things should never be seen outside of the moment in which they occur. Me at concerts is one of them.]

There's more there's more there's more, but I'm tired of typing. Yus. So the day actually turned out well, which is good because I needed it. We'll see how things go from here, but I have a feeling that everything is going to be fine.

It was so much fun and it went off totally without a hitch. A bunch of people came which was amazing, and Emily and I got to hang out after the show, which was wicked fun.

Psyched for Prom tonight. Got a manicure/had my wicked long nails filed down by about half an inch. Which kinda hurt. But I digress. I'll fill you all in on that tomorrow.

I've been hooked on the new White Stripes single "Icky Thump".
